Andreas Ioannou / Senior Associate
Andreas joined CommerzVentures in 2022. He seeks visionary and gritty founders executing ruthlessly to radically transform their industry.
Prior to CommerzVentures, Andreas was immersed in fintech and hyper-growth at Deposit Solutions and Raisin. He worked with the product team to build out the platform, developed go-to-market strategy, and drove business development.
Andreas holds a Bachelors and Masters in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge. His Masters thesis created stochastic models to predict the long-term behaviour of drag on low-Earth orbit satellites.
Outside of work Andreas enjoys listening to music, finding shelter in contemporary art galleries, and asking questions to update his priors.
